Fan Fiction Guidelines - Revised 6/10/05
Story Guidelines: All stories should be FICTION.
As of June 10, 2005, we are asking that you no longer post stories in which Gerard Butler, the actor, is the main character of the story (Otherwise known as Gerry Fan Fiction Stories). This would also include fiction about members of his family or staff.
Of course, your characters can be BASED on and INSPIRED by Gerard. Therefore you may continue to post your stories that are based on the numerous characters he has portrayed.
Out of respect for his personal life and that of his family, we feel the need to revise these few guidelines.
The PG-13 guideline is STRICTLTY enforced. Nothing over PG-13 is ever allowed, regardless of whether there is a disclaimer.
