I have a book and several short stories I'm working on all related to the title 'The Many Adventures of Danny Mac'. This is NOT a Gerard Butler story, but the bones of the character are certainly Gerry inspired (though by about chapter two it's quite apparent, this ain't Gerry). This is not a story based on his movie characters either...so I wonder if it's contents are appropriate. As writers many of you know that character building is all about borrowing a bit here and a bit there from a wide variety of different people. This character in particular talks like Gerard, thinks like my Viking and looks like my tall Irish son. However, this character doesn't like his mum, hasn't settled with his past - but _is_ a Scottish Actor. The last thing I'd want is folks to misinterpret a work of fiction as some kind of biography of Himself. Also should language be masked as in 'sh!t' or censored completely? Please also provide exactly what PG-13 entails, especially related to love scenes. I've had a ton of requests to post UC:POTO here and while the love scene is VERY mild...folks are getting nekkid....(but the story leave what they do after getting nekkid quite to the reader's own imagination) Thanks Sedona Leigh writing as Laura Mac

I'm wanting to be cautious, but what exactly does PG-13 entail? I dont want to make the stories too boring, or too juicy. So, just some general guidelines as far as language and sexuality, etc. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

No explicit sexual content, no overuse of foul language, and though it may sound odd, we only just ask that you (or anyone for that matter) do not post anything that you wouldn't allow your daughter, sister, cousin, or friend, that is 13 or younger to read. It is targeted more toward the sexual content but we also do not allow controversy stories that raise issues. I hope this helps, but if you still have questions please PM me so we can talk about it. I think that you might be having a problem that has been giving trouble to other writers as well, and that is that you do not have the Insert buttons on the right of the reply box. If that is the case then don't worry about it, simply: Post your story as you would regularly Go up to the box at the top of the web browser and highlight all of the symbols that follow after Once they are highlighted then go to Edit and Copy. Come back to the contest thread were you want to post, reply to the entry and once in the reply box simply go back to the top of the browser and click on Edit and Paste. You will see that all the symbols will be transfered (just leave them as they are and write the title to your story a few spaces below). That should do it, if you still cannot post a link then don't worry you are not the only one, give us another ring and we will try it again. Good luck and don't stress about it, Paty Enter

I would ask that people do try to keep their pics and signatures to the same standards as GBNet main forum. The reason for this is it does take some people longer when they are on dial up to load up a story thread is there is a lot of pics.
