Hi Madi and other dear readers...
Please forgive my long delay in continuing the story - the next chapter was just posted and I hope you enjoy it. Aaron and Ceara will finally begin to express their true feelings in a more honest way; please let me know your thoughts! (Disclaimer: Delay was caused by two weeks of blocked sinuses and cough not to mention other ailments--uugh! The weather changes dramatically from day to day, from the 70s to the 20s and a few dots of snow today. Life is also far too stressful and busy, hence my dwelling upon sleep and soft blankets...) chris |

 aaron continues to surprise her. (his speaking of the language) she is learning more and more about him everyday.good that rev mitchell is a good friend of his and has known him for a while. he seems to be helping her a litle bit. the onieda seem to trust aaron. they value his wisdom too. ( i wonder if he had grown up among them?????) i like the elderly lady (i guess she is the chiefs wife). she tells aaron what she wants and he better listen. love the way that ceara went to the councill meeting with one thing on her mind. he sees her and knows what she is up too. i wish they would consumate their marriage. but i guess they do need to get to know each other better. at least one thing, they do care about each other. debra |

Hi, Debra and anyone else reading this story,
Very perceptivee, Debra, wondering if Aaron grew up among the Oneida. Should I tell now, or let you see as the story progresses...? I think I will choose the latter, it's more interesting that way. His background does relate to why he is delaying their union...remember that he did not use his real name on their marriage certificate. Any guesses why not? chris |

 ok, guesses. 1. he doesn't know his real name because he was brought up among the onieda. 2. his family was against the war and he had to not use his real name. i don't know. cannot wait to read more. debra

Hmmmm???, but doesn't he have a Scottish accent going on? That might put a damper on his being raised with the Onieda. But who knows. He definitely has something going on with them. Interesting comment about his background having to do with his holding off on their consumation.

Oh dear, I feel badly about this but I have to take a momentary break in writing this story. Everyone is home and I haven't any time to write, plus I am desperately trying to finish the final version of Music of the Light on fanfiction.net. The last few months I've found it harder and harder to write both stories simultaneously - Erik kept pushing in on Aaron! We don't want that and I doubt I could write a crossover even if I wanted to. So please hang in there - I'm moving as fast as I can on MOTL...maybe check it out in its new (and I hope improved) form on the abovementioned website...in the meantime have a blessed and healthy Christmas (or Incarnation as we call it), and a happy and healthy new year. Looking forward to PS I Love You if I can get the family to go with me to see it. AND I've ordered the book already (of course it's the one with Gerry and Hilary on the cover). chris

I'm so sorry I haven't had time to work on this story. I have been trying to finish MOTL on fanfiction.net and to think about where to go with this story at the same time. And everyone is home with me due to bad weather so I cannot work on anything until I have the house to myself. I really feel badly about this and will try to submit something soon. Hi dear readers,
Due to the (?*!) outcry for another chapter I re-read some of the story and was inspired enough to begin the next one. On Sunday night a blizzard dumped about 1.5 feet of snow on us, cancelling school Monday. My husband took the day off work so of course I didn't have the opportunity to write. So with everyone off to their usual places I rushed to my computer and had enough time to produce five whole pages! I do want to add a bit more before posting it, so please hang in there until Thursday or Friday at the latest when I hope to post it. Actually I enjoyed the outcry, sort of... chris |
