Dear Chris:
I am reading your story and I just love it. It's a wonderful thing to read a story about our own country in its beginning. My own ancestor fought in the Revolution, and I've always had a great interest in that time in our history. I can't wait for the next chapters. please keep up the good work. I just finished reading the Quartering. I have always loved reading about the American Revolution so, of coarse, I was intrigued. I can hardly wait to read more.

Thank you for your comments--I know it's risky writing a historical romance and getting the facts and dialog to fit, so if something isn't quite right I hope you will let me know. With Music of the Light there were a few comments on the dialog being too modern, so this is my weak area...but the main objective is for you to enjoy what you read and hopefully be inspired. chris |

Andrews was my favorite author I would always be waiting for her newest book and now I am waiting for yours. Good to hear from ya--sorry but no new chapter yet thanks to a very hectic week (holidays and work)...but thanks for encouraging me on. Hope to put a new chapter up within the next week... Chris PS- I'm not familiar with VC Andrews' work but I have heard the name. What kind of writer is he/she? |

You know I wanted to wish you and everyone a happy Mother's Day but then I thought if readers were not mothers they might feel left out, anyway it got late and I had to rush to post just that little additional chapter and by the time I managed to finish it I totally forgot!

Presenting Chapter 5 with apologies for the long delay. There was/still is a lot to sort out and I have yet to fix the year and exact setting. I wish I had time to go back "home" as I grew up not too far from Oriskany NY where a huge battle took place. All those museums and forts and I never went to one! Now I'm regretting it, but of course I wasn't interested in reading or writing historical romance then!

 finally have a computer back. (at home) read the quartering all the way through. i like your characters. ceara is very nice and caring. aaron sounds yummy. (if he is patterned after gb of course he is  )i am happy that he met up with faith and saw that she was safe. i hope eventually that ceara and aaron get married (even an arranged marriage to start off with) and faith and her little brother eventually live with them as a family unit. i do not like her sisters husband. he is evil. he is playing both sides for his own gain. he will eventually turn on his family (wife) and go where the money is. i do not like how he is trying to set up his sister-in-law with someone of his own liking. he wants ceara out of the way. i think he realizes that she is on to him. like i said i think caleb is evil. i like how  the two of them are kinda of flirting with each other. post soon.
