I'm not a huge fan of angst myself, but I think (and anyone is free to disagree -- it's just an opinion) a story is more interesting if the
characters have to work a little bit.
I think I'm almost done proofing my posts, so hope to finish Chapter 10 & get 11 up in the next few weeks. If RL doesn't act up again.

And I think I'm going to call Chapter 10 finished for the time being. Chapter 11 is about halfway (I think) done. If work stays calm, it should be up by
the end of the week.

 yea a new chappy (2 actually). i think that dennys son is living in a house that has anger in it. i think the way he grabbed dennys leg when jean went
off yelling i think the young boy deals with this alot. i think tht denny should try to get custody of him.

I found your story not long ago and have been thoroughly engrossed in it. I am wondering though when there will be more chapters. No pressure mind you just

Thanks for letting me know you like 'Letters from Strangers' Darcy! I am going to complete the story, in fact had quite a bit of it done when
something dropped into my lap at the start of May. (It's a good thing, but incredibly time consuming.)

loved this chapter. lizzie was able to meet his boss and the wife. frankie made a good impression too when the ship had docked. he is a good kid. was nice that
both the captain and his wife liked lizzie and the wife and captain saying they didn't like the first mrs cochran. lizzie was able to meet the other wives
and to talk about raising a child on their own. (her because that is way it is, them because their spouses are out to sea) lizzie being afraid to dance because
of what davey had done to her. denny has learned alot about what his lizzie had to deal with while being married to davey. was good that lizzie told him she
knows that he is not like davey. she has said it and now he knows. post more soon. debra

Yay, I'm back, computer cleaned out and ready to go.
Debra, thanks for your feedback -- as always, it's nice to hear from you. Don't worry to much about her new boss, lol! Like most bullies, he'll back off when somebody stands up to him. The next chapter is started, although I've hit a sticky spot and need to rewrite some of it. It's coming along slowly, so probably won't be posted before the end of the month. |
